Destination Viking – Saga Lands

A major element in the project is the establishement of a number of Saga Trails. The project also aims at reviving the tradition of saga and storytelling and also to make the information and events from the sagas and stories visible and accessible to a general public out in the cultural landscape. Farmers and other local people will be involved, as guides, maintainers and storytellers, and the project will promote community development and social inclusion and add value to cultural landscape management.
