The public vote is currently open for your favourite project nominated for the RegioStars Awards 2025!

The RegioStars finalists

Since 2008, the RegioStars Awards have aimed to recognise original and innovative projects that could have the potential to inspire other regions. A record of 266 applications was submitted to the competition this year. The jury selected 25 finalists across the following five categories:

1. A competitive and smart Europe
2. A green Europe
3. A connected Europe
4. A social and inclusive Europe
5. A Europe closer to the citizens

Voting in the Public Choice Award

The public will be able to choose their favourite finalist for the Public Choice Award. The vote began on 2 September and closes on 15 October at midday.

Although there are no Interreg Europe projects in the running this year, you can vote to support the Interreg project of your choice.

Announcing RegioStars winners

The jury’s «final round» will take place on 14 October during the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels. Finalists will then pitch their projects to the jury as well as a live audience. 

Then, at the RegioStars ceremony on the evening of 15 October, winners in each category—as well as the Public Choice Award winner—will be announced.
