SUMMARY:Vote for the RegioStars Awards 2025
DESCRIPTION:The public vote is currently open for your favourite project nominated for the RegioStars Awards 2025! \n\n\n\nThe RegioStars finalists\n\n\n\nSince 2008\, the RegioStars Awards have aimed to recognise original and innovative projects that could have the potential to inspire other regions. A record of 266 applications was submitted to the competition this year. The jury selected 25 finalists across the following five categories: \n\n\n\n\nA competitive and smart Europe\n\n\n\nA green Europe\n\n\n\nA connected Europe\n\n\n\nA social and inclusive Europe\n\n\n\nA Europe closer to the citizens\n\n\n\n\nVoting in the Public Choice Award\n\n\n\nThe public will be able to choose their favourite finalist for the Public Choice Award. The vote began on 2 September and closes on 15 October at midday. \n\n\n\nAlthough there are no Interreg Europe projects in the running this year\, you can vote to support the Interreg project of your choice. \n\n\n\nVisit the REGIOSTARS website to have your say.\n\n\n\nAnnouncing RegioStars winners\n\n\n\nThe jury’s «final round» will take place on 14 October during the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels. Finalists will then pitch their projects to the jury as well as a live audience.  \n\n\n\nThen\, at the RegioStars ceremony on the evening of 15 October\, winners in each category—as well as the Public Choice Award winner—will be announced. \n\n\n\nRelated tags \n\n\n\n#EURegionsWeek \n\n\n\nRegioStars

SUMMARY:Østersjø: Small projects\, big wins
DESCRIPTION:Call is open now!  \n\n\n\n\n \n Foto: Interreg Baltic Sea Region\n \n\n\n\nSmall projects\, big wins\n\n\nAre you ready to explore how transnational cooperation can unlock the hidden potential of rural and challenged areas\, transforming local realities into exciting opportunities? Then submit your Project Idea Form & keep your gateway for Interreg funds open! \n\n\nDeadline for submitting your Project Idea Form: 5 June 2025\n\n\n\nFinal application date: 8 October 2025\n\n\n\nInnovative\, waters-smart & climate-neutral societies\n\n\n\nSmall projects\n\n\n\nSmall projects aim at facilitating easier access to the Programme\, in particular for those partners that have not previously participated in the Programme. Applying for a small project and implementing a small project is much simpler when compared to the core projects. For example\, the budget of a small project is smaller than a regular project. The work plan consists of one work package and it may be implemented by small partnerships. \n\n\n\nIn small projects\, partners are encouraged to develop practical and durable outputs and solutions for challenges in the region. These challenges need to correspond to one of the Programme objectives. Small projects should increase capacity of the target groups to deal with the identified challenges during and after the end of the project implementation. The development of solutions is not obligatory in small projects. However\, activities need to go beyond pure networking and knowledge exchange. \n\n\n\nFocus of the call\n\n\n\nThe call is open for applications tackling challenges under Priority 1 Innovative societies\, Priority 2 Water-smart societies\, and Priority 3 Climate-neutral societies. \n\n\n\nThe Programme is particularly looking for projects supporting the cohesive development of small places\, rural areas\, and areas experiencing challenges significant to the social and economic fabric of their local communities within the Baltic Sea region. \n\n\n\n\nMore information and call documents\n\n\n\n\nContact\n\n\n\nAnn Irene Sæternes\n\n\n\nØstlandssamarbeidet \n\n\n\n+47 95 83 27 58 \n\n\n\nannsa@afk.no \n\n\n\nKoordinator for Interreg Østersjøprogrammet (Baltic Sea Region)
